This Privacy Policy explains how Studio Oranje LLC (“fivvo,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use fivvo at www.fivvo.app(the “Service”). We act as the data controller for the account information described below.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — your email address and authentication data, handled through our authentication provider.
- Business and invoicing data — your business name, address, banking details, tax identifiers, clients, invoices, and any artwork or templates you upload. You enter this to produce invoices; it is your content.
- Billing information — when you subscribe, our payment processor collects and stores your payment details. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data needed to operate the Service securely, such as your IP address and request logs, including rate-limiting on public endpoints to prevent abuse.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service: create, store, and render your invoices.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process subscription payments and manage your plan.
- To analyze invoice artwork you upload, using an AI provider, so we can propose a template layout. This runs only on files you choose to upload.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and material changes to the Service.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of contract (to provide the Service you sign up for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service and prevent abuse), legal obligation (for tax and accounting records), and consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies).
Service providers (sub-processors)
We share personal data with a small number of providers who process it on our behalf, only to run the Service:
- Clerk — Authentication and account management (email, session).
- Stripe — Subscription billing and payment processing.
- Neon — Serverless Postgres database hosting your account data.
- Cloudflare — Rendering invoice PDFs from your data.
- Anthropic — AI analysis of invoice artwork you upload (custom template layout).
- Vercel — Application hosting and content delivery.
Some of these providers are located in the United States or process data internationally. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) to comply with legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can edit or delete most of your data directly in the app. To exercise any other right, contact us at info@fivvo.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
